The ratings published on Fahrzeug-Scout24 and the published dealer reactions only reflect the personal opinions of the respective reviewers or dealers. Fahrzeug-Scout24 will only check the ratings before they are published to a limited extent with regard to any violations of this principle. A complete control of all content does not take place. For this reason, Fahrzeug-Scout24 assumes no liability for the content of the ratings.
The ratings are used exclusively in connection with Fahrzeug-Scout24. This includes the publication of vehicle Scout24 ratings and their use to advertise Vehicle Scout24 and the advertisements posted on Vehicle Scout24 (e.g. through integration into Vehicle Scout24 advertising banners or other Vehicle Scout24 advertising materials published by Vehicle Scout24 or third parties e.g., may be distributed on websites, software applications, in e-mails or through print, radio and television marketing campaigns). Fahrzeug-Scout24 can also allow Fahrzeug-Scout24 dealers to use the ratings for advertising purposes.
Scoring Rules
What are the rules for rater?

Reviews are based on personal experience and are unbiased.
a) The rating must be based on a personal service experience with the rated dealer initiated via Fahrzeug-Scout24. It is not permitted to submit a review on behalf of a third party or through technical means (e.g. robots).
b) There must be no relationship between the evaluator and the retailer that could cast doubt on the objectivity of the evaluation. For this reason, the organs and employees of a dealer (and their 1st and 2nd degree relatives) are prohibited from evaluating the respective dealer.
c) Reviews by other dealers or their employees are also prohibited.
d) Ratings on behalf of a third party are prohibited. This applies in particular to ratings that are submitted on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer with the aim of encouraging positive feedback or giving a negative rating to another retailer.
e) In order to prevent cases of misuse, ratings of the dealer's end devices (e.g. PC, tablet) and his internet connection are generally prohibited.
f) So-called disposable e-mail addresses are not permitted for any inquiries about an evaluation. -
Protection of personal data
a) Reviewers protect their personal information and refrain from disclosing any non-public information (e.g. name, address or telephone number) within the review text.
b) Naming of the staff of the rated dealer or other persons within the rating text is not permitted. It is also forbidden to include a written conversation with the retailer in the evaluation.

Complain about reviews
What you can do to complain about content from Fahrzeug-Scout24.
If an evaluation or an answer violates the evaluation rules, you have the option of informing Fahrzeug-Scout24 of this. We will then check the content with the means available to us and, if necessary, take further steps. A review or reply will be deleted if it violates the Review Rules or the Merchant Response Rules. If the violation affects only parts of a review text or a merchant response, only the affected part will be deleted and marked accordingly (in this case, the assigned grade and the rest of the review or merchant response text will be retained).
In the event of a request for information from a law enforcement or supervisory authority in connection with investigations or the suspicion of a criminal offense or an illegal act, we will pass on the requested personal data (if available) to the authorities.
